After attending an iRest workshop taught by Dr. Richard Miller in 2008 at the IAYT SYTAR conference he was ‘hooked’! Since then Leigh has dived deeply into the teachings and practices of iRest and describes iRest as the “new software of my life”. As the Associate Director for iRest in Australasia, he has assisted Australasian Director Fuyuko Toyota regularly at trainings and retreats. He has helped iRest to become a registered training by Meditation Australia, and continues to work toward the recognition of iRest training by the IAYT.
She is the co-owner of the Yoga Center of Key Biscayne. Molly leads retreats and teacher trainings worldwide, has created several iRest Yoga Nidra CDs, a hatha yoga DVD, and is the author of an upcoming book. She is a "Featured Teacher" each month for Yoga International with a series of videos and articles. Molly also serves as an advocate for veterans, human trafficking survivors, and women’s empowerment initiatives. She lives in South Florida with her 5-year old son, Santiago, and their yellow Labrador, Cleo.
In her spare time she runs wild with her two nieces, enjoys cooking (she used to be a pastry chef!) and spending as much time out of doors as possible.
Through iRest, Jennifer has become aware of a deep sense of wholeness that has always been present and with this wholeness, an ability to fully welcome life with all of its ups and downs. What a gift it is to be working for the Institute!
From 2006-2012 Robin was a yoga and iRest® meditation instructor for a Defense Department acute PTSD treatment program at Walter Reed Medical Center. Out of this work, she co-founded Warriors at Ease (WAE), which has trained over 700 yoga teachers to teach safely and effectively in military communities. Robin has a private practice focused on trauma, anxiety and other mental health concerns.
She has many best-selling recorded practices which are widely available. Her work has been featured in the Washington Post, Woman’s Day Magazine, Huffington Post, and Army Magazine, as well as the award-winning documentary, Escape Fire: The Fight to Rescue America’s Healthcare.
It is Anne’s joy to supervise students through iRest Certification and she has developed an area of expertise in therapeutic settings which includes dyads, customizing a practice, and working with difficult emotions or beliefs. Anne is a certified, professional level Kripalu Yoga Teacher, a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, and Holistic Lifestyle Coach. She draws upon these skills to facilitate: classes, private coaching, personal growth workshops, retreats and teacher trainings. Anne is also an IRI Senior Retreat Leader.
Anne’s work is continually inspired by the natural and wild beauty that surrounds her in the Canadian Rockies. Her own experience of the inner peace and deep joy that has arisen from the practices has inspired her to share them with the world.
She is currently offering iRest to groups and individuals and working within a cancer wellness facility. She loves to offer the nondual practices of bodysensing, pranayama, meditation and personal inquiry in small group gatherings where participants share and learn from one another.
Barbara lives in Calgary, Canada with her husband and has two, brightly shining, grown children.
Clearlight Gerald, MA, E-RYT500
Clearlight began her studies in yoga in 1991, and received her yoga teaching training and pregnancy yoga certification at Kripalu in 1999, while simultaneously completing her multidisciplinary studies and related academic teaching (studies at McGill and Concordia). In 1999, she opted to follow her heart’s desire, and chose to devote her work, studies and life to bringing yogic teachings into the world, and to providing tools for people to awaken to their own innate power, wisdom and love. She has dedicated much of her efforts in supporting women in pregnancy, birth and motherhood, and in giving them tools to navigate their journey with strength, grace and confidence. Clearlight founded Yogaspace Studio as a focal point of bringing this work to the Montreal community. (www.yogaspace.com)
In 2004, as she started to study with Richard Miller, Clearlight began a life-changing immersion in the nondual teachings and practices that continues to today, and it is with immense gratitude that she calls both Richard Miller and Joan Ruvinsky her dear teachers and mentors. Clearlight was certified in 2008 as an iRest Teacher—in the very early days of the iRest trainings—and she became a Supervisor at the inception of the Certification program. In her role as Certification Supervisor and IRI Mentor, Clearlight is known for the care and attention she gives to each student, and the joy and wisdom she brings in guiding those studying iRest to discover their fullest potential in both their personal and professional lives.
Clearlight also plays other roles in this precious life journey… all nourished by the insight and gift of the nondual teachings and iRest practices… she is a trained doula, a mother of twin girls, a life partner to her husband Eric, an avid gardener, and a passionate citizen of this world… and the list continues. Oh, and in case you are wondering, her mom did name her (and yes, her mom was at Woodstock). xo
Inspired by her lifelong work as an artist, as well as her own practice, Nöle developed a unique style that animates complex ancient teachings in a playful, practical, and deeply life changing way. It is this gift -- to live the coming together of the creative and the spiritual -- that is the essence of her teaching.
Together with her life partner Gary Lemons she owns and runs Tender Paws Yoga Studio in Port Townsend, Washington State. www.tenderpawsyoga.com

Profoundly influenced by the non-dual teachings of Jean Klein - as offered through Joan Ruvinsky, Éric Baret and Richard Miller - Kathleen Knipp shares her love of Pathless Yoga body and breath sensing, the texts of Kashmir Shaivism, and iRest® Yoga Nidra at retreats, seminars and classes in Montreal and elsewhere in Canada, and in the US.
A former resident of Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, an E-RYT500 yoga teacher and co-founder and former director of Global Yoga Journeys, Kathleen has been fully absorbed in the study and practice of yoga for more than 20 years. She pursues her bliss by chanting, hiking, and back-packing. Dr. Jill C. Peterson, Psy.D., RYT
Whether through traditional talk therapy, yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation, or all of the above, we can connect (or re-connect) to the wisdom that has been with us all our life. Let the journey begin!
Jill believes the most important part of being human is experiencing, sharing, cultivating and manifesting JOY in all its forms. She wasn’t always able to feel her Self as Joy, but now finds tremendous joy in snowboarding, being in the ocean, seeing a French Bulldog walk down the street, eating REALLY good cupcakes, and making fun of the absurdity of being Human -- we take it so seriously. It’s serious enough as it is, isn’t it?
James has been a practicing yoga teacher since 2005 and was qualified as a Structural Yoga Therapist after completing his training with Mukunda Stiles in 2006. From his clinic in Oxford James works with clients who are recovering from birth trauma, PTSD, sexual abuse and depression, as well as injury and other physical ailments.
He teaches Yoga Nidra at TriYoga London and regularly guest-teaches elsewhere -- such as at the Khiron House trauma centre. He also runs his own regular yoga classes, workshops, and retreats. His work is focused on helping us to live the essence of our true nature: welcoming, open, spacious and free from judgment and conditioning.
Karen Soltes, LCSW, RYT, C-IAYT
Karen taught iRest at the Washington DC VA Hospital as part of the Integrated Health and Wellness Program for 8 years. There, she observed iRest alleviating the symptoms of PTSD, Substance Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, and Chronic Pain. She is also a founding partner of Warriors at Ease, whose mission is to train yoga and meditation teachers to work in military communities.
She currently resides in Durango, Colorado where she hikes, bikes, and savors the outdoors. One of her passions is taking the practices of yoga and meditation to populations that typically do not have access, including: the military, the homeless, and kids/adults with developmental challenges. Her hero is Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, who has the coolest pair of shoes around and discovers that what she was really seeking was there all along.
For the past 20 years she has been deeply committed to Awakening. She discovered iRest in 2006, and upon meeting Richard Miller in 2007, she recognised him as her true teacher. Her Dharma of living in Stillness has since become a reality. She currently serves as Director of IRI Australasia, with the aim of spreading iRest in the wider community of South East Asia, Japan, and New Zealand.
