Resolutions That Matter: A Journaling Session with Richard Miller

On the brink of a bright new year, we traditionally pause to not only reflect on all we’ve accomplished but to envision what comes next. It’s a prime time to set a course toward greater fulfillment. As we do so, it’s worth considering: How can we ensure that the intentions and goals we set for ourselves are in alignment with who we truly are and what we want in life?
In the following journaling exercise, our own Richard Miller invites you to explore this question so that you set and affirm meaningful intentions for 2020 that reflect your deepest heartfelt desire. So grab a notebook, settle in, and prepare to start your year off right.

Thank for provoking me to relook at my intentions. I'm reflecting on how different they feel during periods of 'forgetting' - when they feel more distant, less alive - compared to those moments when they simply are a lived truth that don't need stating, not least becaue "I" is less forgrounded. So, I'm going to watch closely how my phrasing may affect that distance; I mean, of course, I am watching closely !
Your image "like the banks of a river" in connection with intentions is very helpful for me. This image really symbolizes how intentions work. Thanks to yoga nidra, and to your book on iRest, I've understood how important it is to find heartfelt intentions which I really want to become true, which I really mean. Love, Susann
