Has your life been changed by iRest?
Share this transformational practice with the world.
Join the "Donate a Class" fundraiser.
It’s easy to do and the benefits are far-reaching.
As an educational non-profit, we rely on donations to help keep our programs viable - so we can work to alleviate suffering and share the deeply healing, life affirming practice of iRest® with as many people as possible. By simply donating the proceeds of one class, you will help us train and certify new iRest teachers who in turn spread the gift of iRest to their students.
Donations also fund scholarships so teachers in need can receive training and support clinical research so we can better communicate the science behind iRest. 100 percent of the money donated goes directly to supporting IRI programing and all donations are tax-deductible.
Please consider joining the rest of your iRest teaching peers who are helping us spread the gift of iRest one person and one class at a time.
How Does It Work?
Simply host a class at your favorite yoga studio, community spot, or even your living room and invite your students, friends and family. Then donate the proceeds of the class to the iRest Institute. It’s that easy!
Some things to consider:
- If you’ve just completed an iRest Level 1 training, you might consider teaching a group practice focused on Intention and Inner Resource.
- If you're in Certification, teach a class and use this as an opportunity to record the practice to submit for review by your Supervisor.
- You can also host an “iRest evening” with a meditation, discussion, and refreshments to deepen relationships and create community spirit.
If you need additional ideas about hosting a class, please contact us here. We will be happy to plan with you.
Every teacher who donates a class will receive a tax-deductible receipt for the full amount of the donation made.
Here is what one teacher said about participating in our donate a class fundraiser
"After spending the week with Richard Miller at his Level 1 training, I decided to make a difference in my own way and be a source of support in the way that I could. For me that meant, leading a yoga class in my community. I called my studio, picked a day and time the space was open for a class and set it up as a minimum donation ticket sale of $25. The studio donated the space and all the proceeds went to iRest. .... I didn't get bogged down in performance or attendance. I knew whatever happened and whatever we made would be helpful. It was a great day, many people came, a difference was made and it was as simple as that."
Together we can make a difference. Please join us and donate a class now.
