Facilitating iRest Co-Meditation Dyads: Refine Your Skills

October 8, 2022

Livestream

Description

You must have attended an iRest Level 1 Training prior to attending this workshop. If you are a Level 1 Teacher and do not see a button to register, please log into your iRest account to register.

This livestream, day-long workshop is for iRest Teachers of all levels. Hone your skills and increase your confidence in facilitating iRest Co-Meditation Dyads.

As a standalone practice, dyads are effective for guiding people in unconditionally meeting all parts of themselves. This supports the spontaneous integration and release of whatever is being experienced.

This technique has many applications. It’s an effective way to work with clients, colleagues, and students, and relate to family and friends. It’s also used with great success in psychotherapy and other therapeutic settings.

This workshop will increase your understanding and practical experience of dyads. You'll become an effective and natural facilitator.

You will:

  • Examine and clarify your true role as a facilitator
  • Explore fundamental guiding principles that inform this practice and clarify what is necessary to include when facilitating an iRest Co-Meditation Dyad
  • Learn when and how to best use tools like opposites and stepping back to effectively support personal meditative inquiry
  • Identify and liberate limiting beliefs that may be holding you back in your dyad facilitation and consciously navigate common challenges
  • Strengthen your repertoire for supporting new students and orienting them to dyadic meditation.
  • Explore ways to integrate dyads in personal and professional settings

The workshop includes informative discussions, opportunities to ask questions, and exploration of challenges you may face as a facilitator. You have the option to practice or observe live dyads within small groups, and receive expert feedback from an experienced senior iRest trainer or mentor.

We encourage all iRest teachers, including those still completing the self-paced online training, to attend. We recommend watching the free webinar below prior to attending this workshop. Bring your questions and reflections for discussion.
