Move, Breathe, Rest: A Nine-Week Livestream Class Series

Every Wednesday from March 29 to May 24, 2023

Livestream

Description

“We’re noting the sensations that are present. Noting experience as it’s unfolding itself within each of us. And, every so often, taking a moment to acknowledge what’s not changing. Feeling back into the steady openness of changelessness as experience in the form of sensations reveals itself.”— Clearlight Gerald, Senior iRest Trainer

During this series, your weekly practice will be to take the above words and explore what it means to translate them into your own lived experience and inquiry.

Each Wednesday, gather with other practitioners and be guided by a senior iRest trainer into your own first-hand experience of nondual teachings through movement, breathing, and meditation.

This series will support you to release tension, foster inner stillness, connect to a deep sense of wellbeing, and nurture your direct experience of pure Awareness. You’ll explore some of the kinds of practices included in iRest’s nondual meditation retreats.

These nine livestream classes include BodySensing—a gentle and accessible movement practice, breathing exercises, and iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation.

This series will support you in:

  • Having time to yourself each week for experiencing iRest and the nondual teachings
  • Familiarizing yourself with the gentle and profound movement practice of BodySensing
  • Learning from a variety of senior iRest trainers, each with their own approach
  • Exploring some of the practices you’d encounter at an iRest retreat
  • Nourishing your post-retreat practice with the guidance of a teacher
  • Living the wisdom of practicing little and often

This snippet from 2022’s series introduces you to some of the concepts you’ll explore.

See the list below of our senior faculty of trainers who bring decades of experience and embodied understanding. Each teacher will share their unique expression of these practices and nondual philosophy.

This is the second time we’re running this well-attended series. You can choose between attending live online, or watching the recordings on your own time.

All classes are accessible and effective for all experience levels. You’ll need enough space for a yoga mat or small carpet, and a comfortable chair or meditation cushion.

The movement portion of each class is comparable in intensity to gentle yoga. Modifications will be offered as needed.

Note: Schedule of trainers is subject to change.
