Foundations of Yoga Meditation Retreat

Yoga and meditation have been scientifically proven to foster health, resilience, well-being, and healing for physical, psycho-emotional and spiritual challenges. The Yoga Sutras of Patañjali affirms that the path of self-realization must include physical, emotional, cognitive, and meditative practices if you are to experience spiritual transformation.

In the West, hatha yoga asana has mistakenly become popularized to the general public as representing the core teachings of Yoga. But, hatha yoga practitioners are starting to ask, “What’s next?”. The answer comes in the form of yogic non-dual teachings, in depth principles and practices of meditation, awakening, and enlightenment. These teachings can be integrated into all forms of yoga and meditation as well as throughout daily life.

This five-day silent meditation retreat led by Dr. Richard C. Miller, developer of the iRest Meditation Program, focuses on non-dual yogic teachings of awakening to your essential nature. During retreat Richard will guide you into the depths of your own self-exploration through simple yet elegant practices.  You will discuss the underlying principles and explore self-inquiry, pranayama, hatha yoga, yoga nidra, sitting and walking meditation practices.
