This iRest Yoga Nidra Level 1 Training is designed to provide you with the basic principles, history, theory, practice, and delivery of iRest. This will allow you to incorporate the simple 10-step iRest protocol into your personal life, professional teaching, or clinical practice. The protocol has been designed for use in various settings that include a personal practice, yoga environments, physical therapy, massage therapy, social work, clinical and medical settings, alternative or integrative medical practices, as well as in-job training and job resiliency programs. Molly Birkholm is a leader in iRest™ Yoga Nidra, Sivananda Yoga, and treating trauma with yoga and meditation. Molly serves as Director of Human Trafficking Relief and as an iRest Trainer for the Integrative Restoration Institute. She is also the Executive Director and co-founder of Warriors at Ease, an organization with more than 725 teachers serving at more than 65 bases and VAs to over 100,000 people. She is the co-owner of the Yoga Center of Key Biscayne. Molly leads retreats and teacher trainings worldwide, has created several iRest Yoga Nidra CDs, a hatha yoga DVD, and is the author of an upcoming book. She is a "Featured Teacher" each month for Yoga International with a series of videos and articles. Molly also serves as an advocate for veterans, human trafficking survivors, and women’s empowerment initiatives.
