When we practice iRest Yoga Nidra in motion, “BodySensing movement” we cultivate a felt sense of peace, a calm alertness and wellbeing, we welcome in ease with effort, stillness with motion and create the neural connections that help bring equanimity into the midst of our every day life.
As we practice iRest with movement, boundaries begin to dissolve, a feeling of non-separation may arise, we are no longer parts of a body attempting to fit ourselves into a form. There is nothing here that needs to be fixed or changed, instead we are vibratory aliveness, a fully connected wholeness. We begin to feel into the wholeness that at our deepest essence, we already are. A sense of Home, or Peace that remains with us no matter the circumstances.
This four-part series is open to anyone with an interest in moving meditation.
