iRest® Yoga Nidra is a research based meditation protocol that was developed by Richard Miller, PhD. It brings together the teachings of the non-dual tradition with the techniques of mindfulness and with current findings in neuroscience. There will be opportunity to invent and create the practice that fits your needs and your circumstances.
Nöle Giulini, C-IAYT, will be presenting an overview of the 10 steps of iRest® as a path of meditative self-inquiry. This retreat includes BodySensing, BreatSensing, self-inquiry and co-meditation in dyads, guided iRest® practices and plenty of space and time for dialogue.
As we journey through the layers of identification with body, mind and emotion we gently exchange visualizing and thinking for feeling and sensing--welcoming every perception as a messenger. We experience ourselves as witnessing-presence, the spacious stillness out of which perceptions arise and into which they eventually dissolve. This profound perspective shift invites equanimity, joy, and freedom into our lives.
