I'm an active duty Navy psychiatrist. I'm currently stationed at the Navy's Physical Evaluation Board. I spend 1 day a week at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD doing clinical work. I'm running a mind-body skills group (using the model from Jim Gordon's Center for Mind-Body Medicine) and I'm getting ready to start an iRest group for medical oncology outpatients. I did the level 1 iRest training earlier this year and will be going to level 2 in September. I recently completed my classes for my RYT (although I still need to finish the paperwork!) and hope to be teaching some yoga classes this fall through YogaActivist.org.
