Fedora is a Forrest, Yin and Yoga Nidra teacher who believes in the benefits of yoga for mental, emotional and physical health. She is a master level social worker and public policy professional with experience in child and family policy, trauma and mental health, and the social determinants of health. She has worked in the child welfare, family violence, and health and human services systems and is the Southern Regional Director for Young Invincibles, a national nonprofit committed to amplifying the voices of young adults, ages 18-34. Fedora completed her 200 hour teacher training with Ana Forrest and her Level 1 iRest® Yoga Nidra training through the Integrative Restoration Institute.® She completed a Yin yoga specialization with Heather Tiddens and is currently participating in a 300 hour training at Practice Yoga Austin with a focus on Yin yoga. Fedora draws upon her professional experience and yoga training to create a supportive, safe, compassionate, and empowering space for students to learn, heal and grow in their practice.
