Angelike (Angie) Giallourakis has dedicated that last ten years to advocating for adolescents and young adults with cancer. She is a Parent Mentor at University Hospitals of Cleveland Ohio for families with children with cancer and the 4th Angel Mentoring Program for the Cleveland Clinic. She is the founder of the Steven G AYA (adolescent and young adult) Cancer Research Fund since 2009, in honor of her son, Steven, a four-time cancer survivor. Angie uses her Level 2 iRest Teacher skills with young adult cancer patients/survivors and parents of children with cancer. She is also a certified Yoga4Cancer Teacher. In 2019 she received the Living Angel Award from the American Cancer Society.
