Nicole Bliss

I found my way back to yoga in 2016 after years of putting heavy demands on myself to succeed in the corporate world while trying to morph into the mythical SuperWife and SuperMom left me feeling overwhelmed, unbalanced, and searching for something more. I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training at Elements3 in 2018, inspired by Laura Ahrens, Carrie Ganz, Andrew Tanner, and Erica Tharp to go deeper into my practice and share what I've learned with others. During that time I also began exploring the teachings of a variety of Buddhist meditation teachers including Joseph Goldstein and Sharon Salzberg, and participated in my first silent retreat at Spirit Rock led by Mark Coleman, Spring Washam, and Carol Cano. During the Elements3 training, I was guided through my first yoga nidra meditation and resurfaced from it feeling at peace, whole, and connected to everything around me. Recognizing the profound impact this experience had on me and how it could help others, I completed level 1 Integrative Restoration (iRest) Yoga Nidra Meditation training with Karen Soltes, level 2 training with Stephanie Lopez and Richard Miller, and am currently teaching the practice at Common Ground Yoga in Framingham, Massachusetts, and in a corporate setting in Boston while pursuing iRest certification. My mission is to help others recognize their essential nature and use this knowledge to inform how they interact with the world. I am deeply interested in how we can leverage mindfulness to positively influence corporate settings and in every aspect of how we lead our lives. My practice is to infuse these teachings into how I lead myself and others. I credit The Conscious Leadership Group as an influence and am pursuing their 15 Commitments Coaches Certification in 2020. Grateful for all my teachers have taught me, my goal is to help those who may also find themselves distracted by the demands of everyday life and are looking to bring health and harmony into the mix.
