Linda is the founder of New Day Yoga & Wellness. She is an experienced Certified Yoga Instructor and is registered with Yoga Alliance. After practicing yoga for over 25 years, Linda, a commissioned Stephen Minister, pursued her certification to teach yoga in 2007 in Phoenix, AZ, through the school of Holy Yoga: Christ Centered Yoga. She eventually obtained an additional certification as an E-RYT500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher), which is the highest teaching level recognized by Yoga Alliance. Also recognized as a YACEP, (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider). Linda is a gifted instructor with the ultimate goal of sharing the astounding benefits of yoga and meditation with people of all ages and abilities; from those who are challenged with physical or developmental disabilities, to those who are typically healthy, strong and physically fit. Linda supports her peers by offering practical and enriching workshops that provide nourishing and experiential continuing education. During a typical class, you will find that Linda has the ability to articulate sensation while leading her students through various yoga poses and evidence-based modalities that ultimately prepare both body and mind for deep soul soothing rest and relaxation.. You will learn ways to increase your breathing capacity, move confidently, and strengthen and stretch your entire being. You will leave grounded, refreshed and encouraged to celebrate the gift of what it means to be uniquely you. Linda teaches multiple modalities, such as Office Yoga, Chair Yoga, Qi Breathing, The Great Yoga Wall™, and is a Certified iRest® Teacher. She is also trained and Certified by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to teach Yoga for MS, and is a Certified Y12SR (Yoga 12 Step Recovery) Leader.
