Gerlinde Hayson

I'm Gerlinde, I live on the Gold Coast in Australia and am a mad keen surfer, mum and yoga instructor.

I'm very fortunate that my parents encouraged me to learn Transcendental Meditation at age 6 and have been practicing regular meditation throughout my life. I came across yoga in my late teenage years and this too has become a way of life for me.

I completed my Integral Hatha Yoga 200 hour teacher training in April 2010 at Yogaville in Buckinham, Virginia whilst in the USA travelling with my husband. I also completed my Prenatal teacher training in San Francisco in June 2010 with Beth Donnelly Caban.

I completed my Yoga for Surfers teacher training with founder Peggy Hall in October of 2010.

I taught Yoga in kindergartens with Kinder Yoga Australia from January 2015- October 2016.

I am a Level 1 Surfing Instructor and teach children and adults beginner surf lessons.

I am a Level 2 Teacher in Training of iRest and am extremely passionate about sharing this practice with others.

I teach yoga with iRest at Prema Yoga Studio in Benowa and am so grateful to have Fuyuko as my teacher and mentor.
