Inga discovered yoga almost 25 years ago and felt immediately 'at home.'

Working in the past as a Systems Analyst in major universities implementing computer systems and being under constant pressure wasn't easy for her, she was also a single mum with two girls.

After years of continuous stress, pressure and feeling burnt out, she was diagnosed with chronic pain syndrome, Fibromyalgia.

The light at the end of the painful tunnel was the discovery of Yoga. She began healing her body and found emotional and spiritual strength that helped her to make major, positive life changes to start moving forward with her life.

At the end of 2007, Inga decided to undertake a Diploma in classical Yoga and Meditation and dedicated herself  to teaching, which further helped her to make positive life changes and adjustments.

Inga has now been teaching full time since 2009.  She continues her life journey as a student by attending specialised training sessions and workshops run by international teachers, with whom she often works as an assistant. In 2015 Inga completed an Advanced Teacher Training course with Donna Farhi in NZ.

On May 2017 Inga completed Level1 iRest Yoga Nidra training followed by Level 2 training in September 2017 and has been offering iRest practices since, to the wider demographic.  In 2021, Inga started her iRest Certification journey and successfully completed in November 2022.

Inga has received training from some of the worlds most respected teachers, including Donna Farhi, Bonnie Cohen Bambridge, Leslie Kaminoff, Lisa Petersen, Jesssie Chapman, Richard Miller and Fuyuko Sawamura-Toyota.

Inga  teaches small group classes, private classes and runs Restorative Yoga and iRest workshops which are both innovative and authentic. She believes in supporting and guiding her students to realise and work to their fullest potential through embodiment, somatic awareness and mind body centring through the full presence and awareness of the breath. She is committed to Restorative yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra, presented in one-on-one, Dyad co-meditation, group sessions and workshop settings.

Inga continues to be inspired by being a student herself and thus sharing her knowledge and passion of Restorative yoga and iRest Yoga Nidra through her teaching.
