I have been practising and reading about yoga Nidra and iRest yoga Nidra on and off since 2005. I have been consistently and pleasantly surprised by an improved sense of space and ease following each practice, no matter what the circumstances. A curiosity and need to understand what was happening more fully led to my formally studying iRest yoga Nidra. I especially appreciate that it is a simple, profound and ancient yoga practice that is presented in everyday language, is evidence-based and accessible to everyone at every stage of life.

I am a yoga therapist (BCYT) and yoga teacher (Dip.YTI, Dip.BWY, Dip. Sadhana Mala).

I have been teaching yoga since 2006 to groups of teenagers, older adults with mobility issues, individuals with physical limitations and disease processes, Greystones Cancer Support and general classes.

I teach yoga according to the tradition of Desikachar, breath-centric asana combined with iRest yoga Nidra relaxation and meditation.

In my own life and in those I teach I am struck by how yoga is a process that can unfold throughout our lifetime.

My aim is to bring a combination of gentle yoga and evidence-based iRest yoga Nidra to hospitals, health care settings and work places.
