The practice of iRest® Yoga Nidra brings together principles of both healing and spirituality. Guided to be present in a grounded, embodied and relaxed way, our intention in iRest is to be present with whatever aspects of ourself emerge. This practice helps us access our greatest resource - touching in to simple being and awareness, where there is space for everything to exist in peace.

I am a Level 2 iRest teacher as well as a Somatic Experiencing® (SE)Practitioner, (Dr. Peter Levine’s trauma healing work). I have a private practice in Berkeley, in which I offer both iRest dyads (one to one sessions) and SE sessions. I am teaching a 6-week iRest class at the North Berkeley Sr. Center in the Fall of 2012.

I assist at SE trainings, providing individual sessions and coaching students. Between 1999 and 2011 I resided at San Francisco Zen Center, receiving monastic and priest training, and was ordained in 2005. I was a certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication between 1995 and 2000, and hold a black belt in Aikido.
