Jodi lives in Cochrane, Alberta, in sight of the Rocky Mountain foothills, just outside of Calgary.
In 2000 she attended her first retreat with Richard Miller. She managed to be quiet for a full 20 minutes when invited into silence on that first retreat... and was drawn into the practices. She now deeply appreciates nourishing silence, insights and sense of peace even within chaos that arises from these practices.
In 2009 she completed the formal Yoga Nidra Teaching Certification and since then believes students will find a sense of openness, peacefulness and deeper sense of self through their own practice. She believes mediation can look like sitting on a cushion with upright posture or fishing in a creek or anything in between. Listening and kindness to ourselves are the most important tools.
Jodi would love to hear from you about your experiences of what works and what doesn't work in your meditation practice.
