June Henry PhD is an AHPRA registered psychologist with endorsements to deliver clinical, organizational, and forensic psychology services as well as  a certified supervisor for clinical, forensic, and organizational psychologists. Her Mindfulness Teacher Training (MBSR,MBCT) was with Openground Learning, and Mindfulness in Oncology with clinical psychologist Elizabeth Foley PhD, of the Mindfulness clinic for cancer patients,  Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney                

Yoga registrations include Senior Teacher Member of Yoga Australia, Member of The Australian Assn of Yoga Therapists, and Member of The Int. Assn of Yoga Therapists. June trained in The Mangala School of Yoga and Creative Movement,  Melbourne, and taught this body sensing approach  as part of Physical Skills training for actors studying  in The Dept.of Performing Arts, The University of Southern Queensland.

June  has worked in public, private, and community health care settings, and in multi-disciplinary surgical and rehabilitation pain clinics over a number of years. In 2012 she was awarded Alumnus of the Year, Faculty of Sciences, The University of Southern Queensland. June's psychology and yoga came together  in her role as Convenor for The Australian Psychological Society Psychology and Yoga Special Interest Group, 2012 to 2014. 

June trained in Yoga Nidra with Swami Gitananda of South India,and at The Bihar School of Yoga (BSY), North India, where June compiled the drafts for the BSY 1976 1st Editions of Yoga Nidra and Prana Vidya texts. Continuing her yoga journey into professional psychology June has maintained a focus on attention training and cognitive style, with published post-graduate research in imaginative involvement, and a PhD dissertation in neuropsychology.

June works out of  her private practice  in Toowoomba, a garden city built on the rim and in the crater of an extinct volcano on top of The Great Dividing Range, Sth East Queensland. She has received a letter of approval  from Dept of Veteran Affairs, Commonwealth of Australia, to use  iRest intervention as part of her one to one consultations  with DVA service veterans.

June is greatly appreciative of  the opportunity she had to meet Dr Richard Miller, and to study and work with  his evidence-based iRest Yoga Nidra  and its application in the health care context. June is a Certified iRest® Yoga Nidra Teacher.
