I teach iRest in San Francisco (Financial District)and central Marin (Corte Madera) to anyone who is experiencing an issue and has a willingness to experiment with a mind body approach as at least a one of the many tools I teach. I am very excited to work with iRest. As a psychotherapist of many years, it was very easy for me to see how powerful this approach could be for my psychotherapy and business coaching clients. What drew me to the teacher training was the blend of a step by step self inquiry tool with a deep state of relaxation most commonly brought about by meditation. This was a different way to meditate, one that I have seen appeals to many, many people once they get a taste of it.
The benefits are amazing...improved or eliminated symptoms of depression, anxiety, insomnia, decrease or elimination of chronic pain, improved relationships at home and work, and I am very excited about the benefits for individuals in recovery from drug and alcohol issues and other addictions including codependency. It has helped me in numerous ways and I also just want to pass that on!
