Kirsten has been a student of Richard Miller's since 1998 and has a passion and skill for offering a unique, practical approach to these practices that she has taught for many years. When Kirsten was first introduced to the nondual teachings on retreat with Richard, she was drawn by the sense of self-acceptance that the inquiries restored in her. The first iRest Level I training in 2006 put a context and a framework to the work that had been changing her life and informing her yoga teaching since she began working with Richard nearly nine years prior.
Kirsten is an active member of the IRI team, helping to develop the iRest Trainings, refining the training format and material, and, along with a supportive team, create the iRest Teacher Certification program. In her local community, she offers iRest in class settings, as well as in a therapeutic setting with individuals dealing with trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, overwhelm, and to support them in healing from injury. She travels to offer workshops, retreats, presentations, as well as assist at iRest Trainings. Contact Kirsten if you would like to bring an iRest workshop to your studio!
