A lifelong and passionate advocate for health, wellness and human potential, Lisa began practicing yoga and meditation in 1970 and In 2005 was initiated into the Himalayan Tantra tradition. Today more than ever, Lisa lives all aspects of yoga daily. A certified massage therapist with more than 1,000 hours of therapeutic structural bodywork training. Lisa is also a Reiki Master—and transmits this profoundly beautiful and powerful healing energy in all sessions. A 200-hour registered Yoga Alliance yoga instructor and a 350-hour Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist, Lisa trained at the Ananda Seva Ashram, Santa Rosa, California. In addition, Lisa holds a certificate in nutrition from Ashworth College, Norcross, Georgia. Lisa was first introduced to iRest Yoga Nidra and Richard Miller at Ananda Seva while studying Yoga Therapy. The impact of iRest made a profound change in her own life and her approach to Yoga Therapy. She studied with Richard at Kripalu taking the level I and level II training. Lisa has now embarked on level III and hopes to complete her iRest certification within the year. Lisa works in her own office serving those who are looking for balance and joy in their lives. Lisa has deep respect for both eastern and western wellness modalities, Knowing that the body contains innate wisdom to heal itself, she is committed to helping activate the healer within—while awakening clients to the knowing of our extraordinary capacity for growth, happiness and good health.
