In 2018, I accidentally found myself in an iRest yoga Nidra class in Seattle at the YogaTree studio. In that moment, I felt disappointed because I wanted a rigorous challenge to strengthen myself! Meditation? Sleeping? Two years later, it is my experience that through self-inquiry and the iRest protocol, I've become more resilient and stronger in ways I hadn't known before. I feel such gratitude to the understanding I both have learned and continue to learn every day. Today, I am studying for my 200hr YTT as well as my iRest Certification. By trade, I am a lead software engineer and product owner. I live in a small green home off of the Stillaguamish River north of Seattle, Wa. You can usually find me out sitting on the boulders with my family of 3 children, life-partner, and dog watching the water rush by.
