Sheila Vaughan

Hello! My name is Sheila Vaughan and I am excited to introduce myself! I am a Level 1 iRest Teacher.

I hold a Master of Counselling and am Registered in the Province of Alberta (Canada) as a Registered Psychologist and a Registered Psychiatric Nurse.

I am currently teaching Psychiatric Nursing Students and offering counselling online. My background has been over 20 years counselling adults in Community Mental health clinics and as an Outreach Mental Health Crisis Therapist.

I am looking forward to transitioning towards my counselling practice for individuals and groups being iRest focused. This practice is very similar to Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing for trauma (EMDR), in helping individuals process and live a mindful happy life.

I am practicing iRest to deepen my personal practice to be able to share the mental, physical, and spiritual benefits of this amazing meditative experience.

I am offering iRest as a group meditation online.
