Stephanie brings a style of yoga developed from years of studying and practicing different modalities of yoga and healing arts. Teaching yoga since 2006, this comes thru in her classes by creating an atmosphere of self-acceptance with the element of fun. Her teachings invite you to explore your limits, physically and mentally while offering compassion in a safe exploration while adding in the insights gained from her iREST training. Students experience movement in vibrant new ways, through breath, strength, flexibility, grace, and relaxation. She has group, private, and consultation offerings in central North Carolina where she was born and raised on a tobacco farm.

She continues her studies in a variety of yogic fields with a focus on yoga as medicine. She is in the final phase of completing an Ayurvedic Consultant and Integrative health degree from Maharishi International University.

Married to a former Navy Seal who is also a retired Army Aviator she has witnessed firsthand how yoga and meditation can transform a warrior. After working with the 3/85th WTU in Fort Drum, N.Y. she knew what her calling was to be. Her joy is continuing offerings to separated and active-duty soldiers but finds gratitude and love for any “body” that is willing to take it to the mat.

Stephanie is a Kripalu Yoga certified teacher (E-RYT), a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Instructor, Warriors at Ease Teacher, Ashtanga, Chakra Vinyasa, and is a C-iREST® teacher.
