I am thrilled to have earned my certification as an iRest Teacher and to be able to share these healing and transformative practices with others.
A little about me:
Professionally, my credentials include: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Integrative Psychotherapist), Certified Yoga Therapist, Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Nationally Certified Health & Wellness Coach, and Certified iRest Meditation Teacher.
My full-time work since 2010 has been providing mind-body oriented therapies to the military community at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (Bethesda, MD). In 2010, I co-founded the first ever Mind-Body Medicine Program in the General Internal Medicine Service at Walter Reed and served as Coordinator/Senior Therapist in that program until 2019. Since 2019-present, I have served as Wellness Coordinator at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE). In this role, I have also been responsible for creating, coordinating, and implementing a mind-body wellness program for service members.
I also have a part-time private practice providing integrative psychotherapy and coaching. Please check out my website to learn more.
