Kate is a more than twenty-eight year cancer survivor who works with the medical community in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas, promoting well-being among cancer survivors. Over the past five years, her health coaching practice has served women, men and families who are seeking greater overall well-being. She has guided her clients to better manage chronic illness, lose weight, find effective strategies and tools for healthier eating, movement and lifestyle choices and to develop mindfulness practices to achieve balance in the midst of busy, stressed lives. Kate is certified as Bikram-method yoga instructor and has practiced for this yoga for many years. She also teaches children's yoga. She has been trained by Jennifer Cohen Harper and Mayuri Gonzalez through Little Flower Yoga and Daniel Rechtschaffen on Mindfulness in Education. Kate hopes to bring mindfulness practices to her Title One school where she works as a Reading Interventionist.

Kate is the mother of two precious young women, wife to her best friend for the past thirty-three years, and daughter to a Vietnam Veteran. She grew up in the Canal Zone in Panama and at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY and has had many adventures over the course of her life. She is grateful to be here and to guide others along their "path to vibrant health!"
