I'm a yoga teacher and therapist and a physical therapist who brings a broad range of creative therapeutic exercises and a comprehensive approach to your well-being that includes yoga postures and practices. In addition to addressing physical and functional concerns, we will talk about sleep, stress, and nutrition, as these things are integral to overall health.

​We'll also focus on how you breathe. Breathing is unique because it is both conscious and unconscious - you can choose how to breathe. To those unfamiliar with yoga’s emphasis on breathing, it will probably feel a bit strange to concentrate on what happens in your body when you take a breath, but a few small adjustments to this everyday activity will make a world of difference. How we breathe is linked with our posture, and it affects our nervous system, our mood, and even our experience of pain. By learning some simple breathing techniques, you can teach your body to work on your behalf, even when you aren’t thinking about it, leading to improved physical function and decreased stress that you will carry beyond the time you spend in physical therapy.

The people I work with are curious and motivated - they're interested in understanding themselves a little better, and they want to take charge of their own health. We'll travel the path toward health together, connecting you with your innate wisdom and intuition so that you live a life that is true to you.
