CPT Thomas Nassif is Branch Chief of Operations for the Research Transition Office and a Research Psychologist at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR). He is also principal investigator on a study to examine the impact of mindfulness training on Soldier operational performance, sleep, and behavioral health. He is a certified iRest and RYT-200 teacher with prior experience serving as an integrative health provider for military veterans and psychiatric inpatients at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a health psychology faculty member at American University, George Washington University, and Maryland University of Integrative Health. CPT Nassif earned his master’s degree in Biology and Ph.D. in Behavior, Cognition, and Neuroscience from American University in Washington, DC.
