Tracy Strawn, has a passion for serving others as a teacher and guide. Her desire to create a safe and restful experience within each of her classes is affirmed through her education and teaching Adult and Children’s Yoga. Utilizing the MELT Method (training with Sue Hitzman the creator of MELT) to re-hydrate connective tissue reducing stress from our busy sometimes chaotic world is a practice utilized with all ages.
Restorative Yoga training with Jillian Pranksky and in February 2017 with Judith Lassiter provides her students with the opportunity to completely relax and not feel guilty by Relaxing More. iRest Yoga Nidra Level 2 training with Richard Miller enhances the student experience by connecting to their hearts desire and feeling calm, fully present, and grounded in identifying with their inner resource (a place, person, or experience where you feel safe, calm, loved, or centered).
Completion of RYT 200 and certifications in mindfulness training with a strong desire to learn more describe both the passion to learn and provide each individual a moment of rest and relaxation reinforced with gentle yoga, restorative practice, and meditation.
She lives with her husband and two golden retrievers in Portland and enjoys teaching both adults and children yoga and mindfulness techniques.
