After recurring back pain from a sporting accident I began my personal yoga journey. For a number of years I practiced yoga, and in 2010 decided to pursue my certification in yoga. After completing an 18 month training program in the Iyengar tradition, I received my certification from the Yoga Studio College of Canada. In 2013 I received my level 1 training in iRest Yoga Nidra and in 2015 completed my level 2 training. In 2016 I am happy to say I am now a Certified iRest teacher. I continue to take workshops and train to expand my knowledge and enhance my practice. My experience includes working with adult men and women with a variety of abilities and limitations. I am passionate about the benefits of yoga and how implementing even a small amount of daily practice into your routine, can not only stimulate and enhance physical health, but also your mental and emotional well-being.
