For me, the practice of yoga is an infinite learning process. It is a life long journey that you are constantly building upon and improving, cultivating strength and mental clarity along the way. I have been practicing yoga since December 2011 while I was in graduate school. From my first class on I could feel myself relax, think, and breathe with greater ease. I was hugely inspired to begin my practice of yoga thanks to a great friend. She is a practiced yogi and one of the strongest and most intelligent women I will probably ever meet.

I found the best yoga community I could have ever asked for after moving to Texas, and I am so incredibly grateful. I began teaching regular studio classes in July 2015 and it has been the most rewarding experience of my life. So far, I have completed 500 hours of training withDr. Tiffany Denny (3Tree Yoga Teacher Training) and Faith Hunter (Spiritually Fly Advanced Yoga Teacher Training). As of July 2019, I’m completing my second 300-hour training (because I love yoga!) with Indra’s Grace, and I am so excited to see where this leads me! In May 2019 I had the great opportunity to learn the techniques of iRest® Yoga Nidra with Stephanie Lopez and became an iRest® Level 1 teacher. Yoga Nidra has helped my life in many ways over the years and I am excited to expand my range of offerings with this skillset. I feel very fortunate to learn from such talented individuals.

My goal as a yoga teacher is to always show up for my students. I strive to help my students feel safe, comfortable, and accepted no matter who they are. I hope for them to rejoice in their individuality, and to take comfort in knowing that if anyone can stand by them, I can. We all contain the same goodness, kindness, and love within.
