I came across the iRest teachings at a time when I wanted to be more congruent with my aspirations. The practice of iRest brought a sense of alignment between my inner and outer lives in a way that was transformational. The iRest protocol continues to be my go-to tool to play with each and every moment that arises.
I lived in the remote Canadian Arctic for 12 years amidst a society that is looking for ways to decolonize. Reconciliation between Canadians and the Inuit and indigenous peoples is very important to my heart. I am culturally sensitive and welcoming of diverse life paths.
Now, as a Certified iRest Teacher, I’m grateful I am able to share what I’ve learned with others. I have taught iRest Yoga Nidra both to disadvantaged individuals and yoginis who hit the yoga studio. I work with people suffering from emotional pain, intergenerational trauma, anxiety, depression, insomnia, chronic pain, or people with the strong desire to embrace themselves on a deep level.
