Ettore Vitali

My name is Ettore Vitali, I was born and grew up in Italy, and I moved to the US in 2015. I live now in California with my wife and my dog. I am currently an associate professor of physics at California State University, Fresno, and I have been a researcher in the mysteries of quantum physics for more than 15 years. I started to practice Yoga in 2009, and my spontaneous desire to explore the mystery of "who we are", "what is all this" ... has led me through a wonderful journey of inquiries and insights. Nevertheless, only when I found myself struggling with stress and deep anxiety, I could really discover the importance of meditation as a way to approach life. This induced me to enroll in the iRest teacher training program (currently I am an iRest® Level 1 Teacher) and I plan to continue my journey: my hope is to be able to share with others what really helped me when I most needed it, as I meet my students where they are. I feel that, at this point in my life, teaching meditation is arising as a significant aspect of my heartfelt mission, hoping that other people will feel the life-changing benefits at the physical, psychological and spiritual level.
