Jules found the physical practice of yoga through CorePower Yoga (CPY) in college. She immediately embraced the challenge of linking breath and body in symbiosis to establish a vinyasa moving meditation practice. Shortly after, she completed two 200 Hour certifications with CPY in power vinyasa and hot power fusion (Bikram inspired hot 26) purely out of curiosity and the desire to learn more. After she began teaching in 2014, her practice expanded to encompass other styles such as hatha, hatha flow, yin, restorative, kundalini, kids yoga, and iRest yoga nidra. After integrating more personal experience, Jules completed a 300 Hour Advanced Studies Training with Practice Yoga in 2018 under the guidance of Gioconda Parker, Jenn Wooten and Shanti Kelley. During the course of this training she delved deeper into anatomy, sequencing, and Vedic traditions such as ayurveda, the pancha maya kosha model, mythology and associated literature. In 2019, she studied SmartFLOW® with Annie Carpenter, which reaffirmed the importance of a healthy spine and how to practice accordingly. She also completed iRest® Yoga Nidra Level 1 Training with Stephanie Lopez, and rejoices in both the practice and offering of guided meditation as a means to look inwardly. Jules is passionate about the radical self love that yoga can instill. She fosters opportunities to balance strength and flexibility in an environment that renders transformation.
