Hello! I have a diverse background as a teacher/helper/healer, which all converges into creating spaces to explore and expand consciousness for healing and empowerment. Here are some details of my background... For over a decade, I taught full-time at a college as a professor of cognitive psychology (so I am very familiar with such topics as the organization of the sensory systems and how your current conscious experience is interpreted by biological hardware as well highly influenced by expectations, beliefs, attentional and memory dynamics, etc.--fascinating). I am currently still teaching about this material part-time, but my focus has shifted over the last few years to the point where my main work is now centered on healing/helping. Specifically, I am doing bodywork--I am a NY-state licensed massage therapist specializing in myofascial release, and a yoga instructor, wherein I specialize in yin yoga and guided meditation/yoga nidra. Over the years and through all of these activities, it has become clear that I have a knack for assisting people to relax deeply and enter different states of consciousness for healing. I believe people have what they need inside--sometimes they can use a guide or facilitator to help access or draw attention to their individual, innate strength, gifts, ability to heal, etc.--but those things come from within. I believe my job is to hold space for these healing-consciousness unfoldments, explorations, and expansions. This also describes my personal process... in my experience, getting to know myself through developing awareness of my true nature and capabilities has been so valuable--it affects everything! I am so honored to be able to share this by being a supportive presence on the paths of individuals who are seeking to heal and grow. Please visit my website or contact me if you're interested in learning more about what I offer. Thank you and be well!
