LaMor Silas is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Yoga Alliance® registered E-RYT® 500, and YACEP Continuing Education Provider and Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher with over 5,000 hours of experience facilitating yoga classes, guided meditations and yoga nidra sessions.  She is based in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.  Being drawn to the healing potential of yoga, LaMor focuses great attention on the breath and meditative aspects of yoga and has completed several healing-centered programs including the iRest® Yoga Nidra Level 1 Teacher Training at Kripalu Institute, the Yoga Awareness of Cancer Program at the Duke University Center for Integrative Medicine, and the 100-hour YogaFit® for Warriors program.  She has experience providing services through the Wounded Warriors Project, YMCA-based Livestrong Cancer survivor groups, Moffit Cancer Center-sponsored retreats and local physicians.  LaMor is a Senior Master Trainer with YogaFit® and serves as Mentor and Faculty Member of the YogaFit® Healthcare Yoga Therapy Program.  LaMor teaches Vinyasa, Power, Prenatal, Seniors, Chair, Yin, and Restorative formats of yoga as well as conducts Guided Meditations, Yoga Nidras and iRest potocal Yoga Nidra sessions in-person and virtually.  She is an ACE Personal Trainer with certifications in TRX, PowerPlate, and a variety of group exercise programs including SilverSneakers and Les Mills.
