I am a health scientist (epidemiologist) specializing in the effects of stress and trauma on the brain, body and mind. My current work focuses on mind-body strategies that work with the brain from the top-down and the bottom-up to build stress resilience, strengthen emotional regulation and promote healing and well-being. I am a Certified iRest Teacher, living in Alaska and offer workshops and classes throughout the U.S. and Canada virtually. I am trained in several different modalities to calm the brain and reset the nervous system. I offer workshops that integrate a variety of different tools and also teach restorative yoga intertwined with iRest meditation.
